My name is Wilfredo Paredes. I’m disabled, on life support, on oxygen, and bedridden… and I’m fighting to save the only home I’ve ever known.
Every day is a battle just to breathe.
Every moment is a reminder of how fragile life has become.
And in the middle of all this, I’m facing the heartbreak of losing my home — the place that has held my entire life together.
This house is where I grew up.
Where my childhood memories were made.
Where I learned to walk, laugh, dream, and hope.
It’s also where I experienced the deepest losses of my life.
My dad passed away in this home.
My grandma passed away in this home.
Their love still lives in these walls. Losing this house feels like losing them all over again.
Being on life support, bedridden, and unable to fight physically makes this even harder. I never imagined I’d be in a position where I had to ask for help just to hold on to the last piece of my family’s history.
But I can’t do this alone.
I created this GoFundMe because I’m trying to save the only home I have left — the only place that still feels like safety, memory, and love. Any support, no matter the size, is a lifeline. It gives me hope. It gives me time. It gives me a chance to keep the last piece of my family alive.
Thank you for reading my story.
Thank you for caring.
And thank you for helping me fight for my home.
