We are MN Angels Next Door, a grassroots organization helping families who have been directly affected by "Operation Metro Surge" in Minnesota. We represent the Whittier neighborhood in South Minneapolis — a concentrated immigrant community, including many recent arrivals navigating language barriers and limited access to the institutional support and resources that more affluent neighborhoods across the Twin Cities Metro often rely on. We have been able to deliver groceries, basic supplies, and a lot of needed encouragement and support to over 200 families since the beginning of January. Although we have been told the operation has concluded, we have yet to see what that really means on the ground. The damage done to our community was traumatic and severe. We are committed to helping our immigrant neighbors as they rebuild, secure new employment, and regain their independence. This fight does not end here. In February we were able to cover over 150 families rent & utilities, raising over $180,000. We aim to do the same in March, please help us reach our goal of $100,000!
