WHCA High School Mission Trip 2026

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the school mission trip is to inspire West Highland

Christian Academy high school and junior high school students to a new

level of faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to the Great Commission.

LOCATION:

The school will serve at Niños de Baja, an orphanage in Ejido el Porvenir in Baja California, Mexico. Their

DATES & SCHEDULE: (March 26th – April 2nd ) *Departure date will be determined by ticket prices.

Thursday: Travel Day (Detroit -> San Diego -> Tijuana -> Ensenada ->Ejido el Porvenir)

Friday: Workday at the Orphanage

Saturday: Workday at the Orphanage

Sunday: Church in Porvenir. Hanging out with the niños. Possible trip to Ensenada for dinner.

Monday: Workday at the Orphanage

Tuesday: Workday at the

Orphanage and local outreach

Wednesday: Debriefing & Picnic dinner for

the children at the Orphanage

Thursday: Travel Day to Michigan
