Rebuilding Hope After Hurricane Melissa
My name is Maurice, and I was born and raised in Westmoreland, Jamaica. I am also a member of the Hope Arising for the Forgotten Foundation that was launched in Jaimaca a few years ago. I am launching this relief initiative to support the communities across Westmoreland and western Jamaica that have been severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
The hurricane’s devastating impact has left many families and residents struggling to recover from widespread destruction — including damaged homes, extended power outages, and shortages of essential supplies such as food, water, and clothing.
In response to this crisis, I am reaching out to individuals, organizations, and community leaders to join me in providing urgent relief and long-term support for those affected. Every contribution — whether financial, material, or through volunteer service — will make a meaningful difference.
All donations will go directly toward our relief and recovery program for Jamaica, helping to provide shelter, essential resources, and renewed hope for families in need. Together, we can help rebuild lives and restore our communities stronger than ever.
