West New York Arts is an organization of residents from West New York and surrounding areas to promote culture and the arts in our community. Our group is comprised of more than one hundred artists, professionals, and citizens from the area who want to democratize access to our community's talents.
In 2024, we ran our first funding campaign to complete the legal registration for our organization. Thanks to our community members and supporters outside of West New York, we raised nearly $2000 towards this goal.
Today, we start our programming: a rich tapestry of events fostering our community's literary, visual, musical, and other cultural talents. Thanks to the support of the Town of West New York, we now have a space to bring our vision to life.
As the Secretary of the West New York Arts Board, I write to welcome donations specifically aimed at our operations and programming. This campaign is just one part of our fundraising strategy, and every dollar counts. Your donations will support the following areas:
- Program and event production - materials for installations, equipment rental, supplies for workshops and classes
- Marketing and outreach - printing of promotional materials
- Operations and infrastructure - fundraising platform fees, website hosting, and maintenance
- Logistics - costs of transporting artwork and instruments
