Wesley Walling is raising funds for his Eagle Scout Project. The project will be building/replacing the backyard fence at Buda's Brightside.

Buda's Brightside is a learning facility for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization recently bought a building to be a permanent home for their attendees to enjoy daily enrichment programming. The home that was purchased needed some extra work. At the beneficiary's request, this project will focus on the backyard.

Currently, the outdoor space at Buda’s Brightside lacks a secure boundary, limiting the organization’s ability to host outdoor activities safely. The organization is also unable to secure insurance on the building without a standing perimeter fence.

By building a sturdy, attractive wooden fence, this project will enhance safety, privacy, and aesthetics for the clients and staff. It will also help define the property’s boundaries and protect the area from stray animals or unauthorized entry.

We are attempting to raise $1000 for the project that will be spent entirely on the Eagle Scout Project. The expenses are as follows:

Materials (posts, fence sections, concrete, gravel, etc)- $600

Supplies (food, water, etc for Scouts while working) - $200

Tool Rental (post digger) - $200
