Hi, my name is Wendi Farbstein. Due to a series of significant and ongoing health complications, I am reaching out to the community for support.

I am currently navigating active flares of Systemic Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Ulcerative Colitis. My medical history also includes Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, heart disease, and kidney disease.

These conditions have severely impacted my ability to work; I have only been employed for six months for 2 months at a time, out of the last two years. The severity of my situation recently led to an 11-day hospitalization with subsequent complications.

My medical journey continues with scheduled procedures this month, including a heart catheterization on the 15th, followed by an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. As a single individual managing these challenges alone for many years, I sincerely appreciate any support the community can offer during this difficult time.
