Hi. My name is Hyacinth Husayan Proud, and I'm raising funds to support my mother, Welim Husayan, 72 years old, to undergo a series of medical procedure. First, is an Angiogram that helps examine her heart vessels for any form of blockages or narrowing. Second, is Angioplasty which is a treatment to open narrowed vessels that helps to improve my mom's blood flow and heart function.

On the morning of October 2 (Thursday), I received a call from my sister that our mom suddenly collapsed. She didn't have any sleep all through the night because of a strong earthquake that hit Cebu, Philippines where she lives and because of the series of aftershocks. I told them to see a doctor right away to make sure she didnt hit her head on the ground. My mom was sleepy after the incident so she decided to have a quick sleep first before heading to the doctor. After 2 hours, I received a frantic call from my sister. This time my mom was having seizure, dizziness and shortness of breath. They got an ambulance and headed to the Emergency department. When she reached there, her heart rate is only 20. Doctors surrounded her and worked on her to revive her. She has undergone emergency dialysis too because her kidneys were failing at that time. Currently, my moms condition is stable. But her heart doctor requested for her to have angiogram and possible angioplasty to see what's going on with her heart and to treat it.

We love our mom very much. She means the world to us. She is a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, a great friend and devoted her life to the church. It would be greatly appreciated for your kindness and generosity in supporting mom back to health.
