Hi, we're college students who are proud to support Watts Social—a nonprofit that’s changing lives in one of LA’s most underserved communities. This fundraiser is about hope, healing, and giving our youth a real chance at a better future.
In Watts, most youth programs end when kids turn 15. After that, many are left to navigate a world saturated with crime, violence, addiction, and gang culture. The streets offer a false sense of family—but Watts Social offers something real: empowerment, inspiration, and opportunity.
We’re raising funds to expand services for teens who are too often forgotten. Watts Social provides:
- Field trips to museums, music studios, tech companies, and law offices
- Mentorship, life skills, and exposure to new possibilities
- Safe spaces to simply have fun and be kids again
Right now, our budget only covers the basics to keep the doors open. But these kids deserve more. I know firsthand what it means to hurt a community—and now I’m committed to rebuilding it, one youth at a time.
