Our family is completely heartbroken and devastated by the senseless and tragic loss of Ayla Wind, who was taken from us in an act of violence.

Ayla’s greatest joy in the world was her 4-year-old son, Wally. Her goal in life was to ensure he had the best upbringing possible. She loved introducing him to new skills, from recognizing all his letters and numbers to basic creative play. Her smile was radiant during FaceTime calls with his grandma Julie, eager to boast about his latest accomplishments.

Following this unimaginable tragedy, our hearts are heavy knowing Wally is facing a future without his mama. Amidst the grief, we take comfort knowing that both Wally and his dad had arrived safely in Utah prior to the incident. To support him and his dad, we are rallying together to ensure they are surrounded by all the comfort, love, and protection they need during this time

We are organizing this fundraiser to provide Wally with the security and stability he will need as he grows up. Your generous contributions will first cover immediate living expenses, grief counseling, education and childcare. The remaining funds will be placed into a long-term trust, ensuring Wally is always cared for and supported.
