We are the Finn Family and bi-annually we host an event we call "Holdem for a Cause," where we find a family in need of community support and grace.

This year's family we want to help is the Gant Family! Bart and Cassie of Loomis, CA have 5 children with a 6th on the way. The past few years have been very challenging with their 4-year-old son, Walker. Walker is a happy 4-year-old boy who loves excavators and tractors. He is a ferocious fighter, a fierce lover, and a hard-working kid. Despite his beaming demeanor today, he was born with a genetic mutation that affects his growth and development. After many scans and tests in the first year of his life, it was determined that he had two unknown masses and an underdeveloped digestive tract. Walker underwent three surgeries by the time he was 3 years old and will continue to be monitored as his body grows with additional planned surgeries after his major growth years and into adulthood. We’re thankful that his personality is so full of joy despite the physical pain he has already endured at such a young age.
