In memory of our dear colleague and friend, Volker Bernardi.

Volker’s wisdom, leadership, and kindness shaped not only WFDF but also the global sports community. He leaves behind his wife and two daughters, and in response to many who have asked how to support, a memorial fund has been set up to help his family during this difficult time.

Any contribution, no matter the size, is a way to honor Volker’s legacy and stand in solidarity with his family.

Volker will be remembered not only for his brilliance in advancing our sport but for the generosity and warmth he shared with everyone.

Rest in peace, Volker. Your legacy lives on.
