Support Virtual Mental Health Program

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Keith Muise.

Want to help me help others?

My mental health initiative is called, 80s Summer Camp, and it is is a Positivity Group/Mental Health initiative that aims to promote mental health awareness through positivity, communication, inclusion, grassroots activities, and creativity.

Many of our efforts have been put on hold since the pandemic began in 2020 but we have kept busy adding positivity to the world through social media posts, online seminars, and by giving out mental health awareness shirts to people all over the world.

Celebrities have helped us spread the word but since we have seen our in person events paused for so long, funds to provide shirts and other services to people have dwindled and made it difficult to keep up with requests from people.

If able to keep working on this, I will keep plugging away virtually to add positivity to the world through social media and through virtual events (for now) , for anyone who needs it,  in various ways through the utilization of my teaching background, social services experience, work as a mental health advocate, and my extensive work in behavioral support and intervention in the school and group home settings.

Many people are  struggling, and I have made the choice to try to help as many people as I can. By offering a communication based, multifaceted virtual community program, I feel that I can help reduce (even if it is minimally) some of the stress that people are experiencing in our ever turbulent world.  With so much negativity out there, I want to counteract some of it and show people that there are more people like them who are struggling, and who also believe that we can conquer our mental health struggles by trying to be positive and seeking help.

Dependent on funds raised through fundraising, sponsorship, and funding applications, I will also hopefully be able to hire others to increase the amount of relief and assistance that we can provide to the public.

I have had many requests for T-shirts which I am not able to provide, and I have a long list of requests for help for various different issues, and if I could focus all of my time on helping those who need it, I feel it could be a great help to many people.

Existing services are working at capacity so I thought I would try to do what I can to evolve 80s Summer Camp into the service I always hoped it could be.

Since this is virtual support, my efforts will not be exclusive to my own physical community but I will try to help those in need from all over the world. We will provide online seminars, chat sessions, information sessions, positive videos, online concerts, and when possible we can provide those in need with information on the community services in their areas. Most of all my work will be to break the stigma that surrounds mental health and mental health struggles so that more people feel comfortable talking about it and seeking help when they need it.

Thank you in advance for your help. Even a minimum amount helps, and if anyone would like to send an email interact please contact me.

I will give weekly updates as to my progress, and take your commitment and investment in me seriously, no matter what the amount.

A share goes a long way as well, so please share, share, share!

Below are various news articles about my efforts to raise mental health awareness.

Thanks again….. YerAweSum!
