Hi! Help us bring Vince & Kevin (and baby M) back home safe to California! They are headed to Eureka!

As our nation becomes more aggressively polarized, certain populations are at higher risk in places like Souix City, Iowa. With the police & FBI investigating recent hate crime incidents against latino people, the LGBTQ+ community, and interracial couples in the region, concern for our family has been quickly growing.

Just getting started in life, Vince & Kevin are both sweet, hard working young folks in a low wage area. What they make goes toward their beautiful 2 year old and regular family existence. Yet, they have managed to secure housing in Cali (an often impossible task without credit, references, and lots of cash) to return safely to their home state. Pretty please help us meet our financial goals and obligations.

As V's mom, I would pay for the whole thing if I was able, but if you know me, you know I am currently below the poverty line due to disability and 6 surgical procedures so far this year. An added bonus of them coming home is their dedication to getting me to procedures and doing errands when I cannot. Plus, I'll get to meet my grandbaby!

They have been required to pay 3 months plus deposit ahead of move in - with what we have set aside, we need $3,100 (due Dec 1st!) additional just for that. Renting a uhaul container and shipping it from Iowa to Cali is another apx $2,000. None of this includes incidentals, food and hotels on the way, gas, or other

regular expenses. If you have the ability to assist us, please do. Nothing is too small. If not, please send warm thoughts because this seems to be a troubling time for everyone in our world right now.
