Father is being Detained

Hello, my name is Viki del Mar Chavarri Guillen. I am a Venezuelan immigrant mother living in Gainesville, Georgia, with my young daughter, who is my entire world.

We legally entered the United States in July 2024 through the CBP One program, seeking safety and a better life. But now we are going through an incredibly painful and difficult situation: my partner, Cristian Javier Martínez Morales, was detained by ICE and is now in federal detention in Atlanta, without a judge or any active court process. He’s being held like a criminal when in reality, he’s a good man, a loving father, and has no criminal history. He just came here to give us a better future.

Since his detention, I’ve been completely alone with our daughter, with no income, and no way to pay for a lawyer or a bond. I’m fighting every day as a mother, but I urgently need help to keep going.

I’m raising funds to:

• Hire an immigration attorney to represent Cristian

• Pay for a possible immigration bond if it’s approved

• Cover basic living expenses while I take care of my daughter alone
