On Wednesday, October 15th, our dear friend and community member Vidal was taken by ICE in Encinitas. Vidal is an undocumented immigrant who has lived, worked, and contributed to our community for years. He is a father, husband, kind, hard-working man who has always done his best to provide for his family and build a better future.

Now, his family is facing a devastating reality — not only is Vidal in detention, but he is also unable to work or support his loved ones. They are suddenly left without their main source of income, and the legal costs to fight his case are overwhelming.
