Support Victoria's Sunday Dinners for Sober Living

Thank you for pressing on the link! My name is Victoria, and I've been
in active recovery for a little over 24 months. In 2023, I was admitted into a recovery program at the Salvation Army in Dallas off Harry Hines. When I graduated from the program I promised myself to return as often as possible, as a part of my acts of service for the community. So, I want to give back to that program by hosting Sunday dinners every month.
The clients are served three "meals" a day, but the food provided is not the makings of a cohesive meal, nutritional and often looks like sloppy leftovers. The clients there are not thought of as people who deserve hot and delicious meals. My goal is to provide sustainable, nutritional and homestyle meals for these clients, who are separated from their families and loved ones, but also striving to become the best version of themselves.
Join me, in the first of many endeavors in serving the community and giving back to a program that has inspired me to remain steadfast in sustaining my sobriety. This mission will allow the clients to see what's on the other side of recovery and sober living. I want to be a testimony to what working the program looks like.
Your contributions will also assist in curating full size toiletry packages, purchasing boxers/panties and blankets and pillows for the clients who are in need of them.
Any and everything is appreciated, even if you just share the link!
