What Happened

On Bhadra 23 & 24, 2082 BS (September 8‑9, 2025), Nepal witnessed widespread protests led by young people (Gen Z) against corruption and economic despair.

Security forces responded with excessive force. At least 19 people were killed and over 300–400 injured across Nepal, many by gunfire.

Many protesters are in critical condition; families have lost loved ones; others have lost homes or livelihoods in the chaos. Hospitals are overwhelmed.

Purpose of this Campaign

Goal: Raise US$6,000 to provide immediate relief to those most affected by the violence and fallout from the protests.

How the funds will be used:

Support to families of the deceased ~$1,500 Funeral costs, immediate expenses for families who lost someone

Basic relief supplies ~$1,000 Food, shelter, clothing for people displaced/homes damaged

Psychological / legal support ~$1,000 Counseling, supporting those detained, legal aid, trauma care

Why It Matters

The victims include many young people who were using their voices to demand change. The loss of life, injuries, and damage are not just statistics — they are families in grief, students unable to continue studies, people without homes or medical access. Your help will make a real difference in their recovery and help them rebuild dignity and hope.

Accountability & Transparency

* Local partners: Funds will be sent via trusted local NGOs / relief organizations working directly in Kathmandu and affected areas.

* Regular updates: We’ll post updates on how much has been raised, where the funds have been used (with photos if possible, respecting privacy), and who has been helped.

* Receipts & reports: Major expenses (medical, shelter) will have documentation.
