On August 22, 2024, Larry Blevins, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was tragically and unexpectedly taken from us. Larry has been a resident of Tremont City for many years and his impact on the community can be seen by the countless friends and family that loved him. Anyone that has crossed paths with Larry has felt the compassion he shows people. No matter who you were, he'd drop what he was doing and give you a hand. Those who knew him well may know that his wife of 50 years, Vicki Blevins, has been in and out of the hospital and in very rough health.

On top of losing the love of her life, she has lost her main caretaker and financial provider. Larry has always been a hardworking individual; even at 69 years old, he held multiple jobs in the community in order to provide for the two of them. In addition to the costs for cremation services, Vicki will now need to pay for an in-home nurse so that she can remain in the home they've lived in for nearly 40 years. If anyone feels compelled to donate to the cremation costs of Larry and the medical expenses of Vicki, the family would greatly appreciate the support.
