Support Veronica Mallett's Stroke Recovery

My name is Jennifer Tyler. Andrew Mallett is my brother and Veronica Mallett is his wife and my sister-in-law. They have three children, Van 16, Gwendolyn 7, and Ronan who’s just 2. They are slowly but surely, with a lot of time and energy building their homestead. Farming their own fruits, vegetables, herbs and chickens, they are extremely resourceful. Andrew and Veronica are both school bus drivers for Louisa County.

On Sunday March 30 while visiting our Mom’s house with all the kids and grandkids and cousins Veronica unfortunately had a stroke. She is only 40 years old. She was taken by ambulance to Spotsy Regional Medical Hospital, then shortly afterwards flown to JW Hospital in Richmond by helicopter. She has, at this point undergone emergency surgery and is headed to recovery. We are all taking it minute by minute, but for the foreseeable future, Veronica will be out of work. That’ll leave this family of five to survive on one bus driver’s income so long Andrew isn’t required to stay at home and care for Veronica. Daily living aside, their medical bills will be unimaginable.
