In mid-July, Venessa West was diagnosed with an advanced stage of Hepatosplenic T-Cell Lymphoma. It is a rare and aggressive form of cancer. An initial round of chemo has made her horribly ill, causing her to be hospitalized many times. Doctors have since discovered that she needs a different kind as well as other very expensive, specialized treatments.

Unfortunately Venessa has been unable to work since her diagnosis and currently has no medical insurance, so the hospitals that specialize in the care she needs won’t see her until payment is guaranteed. Any programs she may qualify for involve lengthy application processes. Venessa is in desperate need of funds now so she can begin lifesaving treatment.
