As many of you know, on June 24th, 2025, we unexpectedly lost an incredible woman. Velma was a mother, mema, gigi, and friend. The monarch of our family, always giving guidance and words of wisdom, and more love than you can fathom. We are devastated by her loss.

Velma spent the better part of half her life with her groom of 40+ years, Hubert, who was their sole provider. After Hubert's passing 10 years ago, Velma was left to navigate all of the struggles that come with losing a loved one, with the help of her family by her side. Now that Velma has passed to be with her groom once again, we have been left with some of those same challenges that come with losing a loved one. Navigating loss does not come with a handbook, and we have been relying heavily on prayer and support from our friends and family, trusting God's plan in it all.

Velma's passing was sudden and unexpected, which has resulted in various different challenges and expenses that we were unprepared for. We have had many family and friends ask how they can help during this difficult time, so we have put together this outlet.
