Our mother, Velinda, passed away on August 19th after a long and courageous five-year battle with breast cancer. She faced this disease multiple times with strength, grace, and determination that inspired everyone around her.

From the beginning of her journey in 2020, our mom met every surgery, treatment, and setback with quiet bravery and unmatched resilience. Even as the cancer spread and the challenges grew harder, she continued to show up for us and those she loved, never losing her generous heart or unwavering spirit.

Every single day of her fight, she showed us what true courage looks like. Her battle was nothing short of extraordinary.

Mom expressed her wish for a simple cremation and a celebration of life filled with love and light. This fundraiser will help us honor those wishes and give her the tribute she so deeply deserves. The funds will also help support her husband as he navigates this devastating loss, since our mom was the sole provider for their household.
