Con el corazón lleno de dolor, compartimos la trágica pérdida de nuestro querido padre/abuelo, José Vega, quien falleció en un devastador incendio en su hogar. José fue un hombre amoroso, bondadoso y trabajador que llenó nuestras vidas de calidez, música y fortaleza.

Además del dolor inimaginable de perderlo, nuestra casa familiar —el hogar de nuestra madre/abuela— fue completamente destruida por el fuego. La vivienda no estaba asegurada, dejando a nuestra abuela sin nada: sin pertenencias, sin refugio y sin un lugar al que pueda llamar hogar.

Este GoFundMe está dedicado a ayudar a nuestra madre/abuela a reconstruir su vida. Mientras seguimos de duelo por la pérdida de nuestro padre/abuelo, estamos haciendo todo lo posible para apoyarla en este momento tan difícil.

La ciudad nos ha informado que la casa prefabricada debe ser demolida en un plazo de 30 días. Este requerimiento añade urgencia a una situación ya de por sí abrumadora, ya que ahora debemos asegurar tanto un refugio temporal como una solución a largo plazo para nuestra madre/abuela.

In Loving Memory of Jose Vega

It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic loss of our beloved father/grandfather, Jose Vega, who passed away in a devastating house fire. Jose was a loving, kind, and hardworking man who filled our lives with warmth, music, and strength.

In addition to the unimaginable pain of losing him, our family home—our mother/grandmother’s home—was completely destroyed in the fire. The home was uninsured, leaving our grandmother with nothing: no belongings, no shelter, and no place to call home.

This GoFundMe is dedicated to helping our mother/grandmother rebuild her life. While we continue to grieve the loss of our father/grandfather, we are doing everything we can to support her through this incredibly difficult time.

The city has informed us that the manufactured home must be demolished within 30 days. This requirement adds urgency to an already overwhelming situation, as we must now secure both temporary shelter and a long-term solution for our mother/grandmother.
