It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Vanessa Valencia, a 40-year-old single mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Vanessa was a bright light in our lives — strong, kind, joyful, and deeply devoted to her two children, aged 15 and 16.

Vanessa was more than just my niece. She was like my first daughter. I grew up with her, watched her grow into an incredible woman and mother, and I loved her like my own. She was a devoted mother and a beautiful soul who fought a courageous battle with lupus. She faced years of pain, hospital visits, and challenges with quiet strength and deep love for her family. Her passing has left a deep void in our hearts, but her spirit, bravery, and the love she gave will never be forgotten.

Vanessa worked hard every day to provide for her children. She dreamed of leaving them a better future, especially a safe home they could call their own. Life went to fast and now she is not here any more.

Now, in the midst of our grief, we only have memories to share to remember her.

Con el corazón roto, compartimos el fallecimiento repentino de nuestra querida Vanessa Valencia, una madre soltera de 40 años, hija, hermana y amiga. Vanessa fue una luz brillante en nuestras vidas: fuerte, amable, alegre y profundamente dedicada a sus dos hijos, de 15 y 16 años.

Vanessa era más que mi sobrina; era como mi primera hija. Crecí con ella, la vi convertirse en una mujer y madre increíble, y la amé como a una hija. Fue una madre devota y un alma hermosa que luchó valientemente contra el lupus. Enfrentó años de dolor, visitas al hospital y desafíos con una fuerza silenciosa y un profundo amor por su familia. Su partida ha dejado un vacío profundo en nuestros corazones, pero su espíritu, valentía y amor nunca serán olvidados.

Vanessa trabajó arduamente cada día para proveer a sus hijos. Soñaba con dejarles un futuro mejor, especialmente un hogar seguro que pudieran llamar suyo. Hizo todo lo posible por conservar ese hogar.

Ahora, en medio de nuestro dolor, sus hijos enfrentan no solo la pérdida de su madre, sino también el riesgo real de perder su hogar — el último recuerdo tangible de ella.
