On Wednesday February 26th Val had an accident occur while he was mulching in a skidsteer. A log broke through the impact rated window hitting him right below his heart. He has several broken ribs, a fractured bone in his neck and a tear in his lung. He is in a surgical ICU at their local trauma center. As of now, he is awaiting surgery to fix his ribs. He will be in the hospital for at least a week if not longer and will need time to heal before returning to work. He is the sole provider of the family and worked a very physical job. Financial, spiritual and emotional support will be a huge help to the young family.
