My name is Brianna Kozi and I am one of Val's very good friends.

Last week, my dear friend Val faced a heartbreaking and challenging situation. Her ex-boyfriend, who has been emotionally and psychologically abusive over the past six months, has now caused severe disruptions in her life. He has vandalized their home—damaging bathrooms, punching holes in walls, and turning off essential utilities.

In addition to the property damage, he has manipulated circumstances to get Val fired from her job, which also provided health insurance for her and her two children. His harassment extended to financial abuse, including hacking into her bank accounts and opening credit cards in her name.

Although he is now out of the home due to a protective order, the aftermath has left Val in a difficult position. She urgently needs funds for legal expenses, to care for her children, and to repair the damages to their home.
