Support USA Unified Command in Our Inaugural Year at the World Police & Fire Games!

Hello friends, family, and supporters,

My name is Corinne Heavner, and I’m a lifelong rugby player currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. I proudly serve with the DeKalb County Police Department, where I work as a Homicide Assault Detective. Rugby has shaped who I am—teaching teamwork, resilience, and discipline—and now, I have the incredible opportunity to blend my passion for the sport with my dedication to public service.

I’m honored to be a founding member of USA Unified Command, a brand-new rugby team composed entirely of first responders from across the United States. Our roster includes law enforcement officers, firefighters, corrections professionals, EMS personnel, and more—every one of us is a committed public servant with a passion for rugby.

We’re coming together to represent our nation at the 2025 World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) in Birmingham, Alabama, taking place June 27 – July 6. Our rugby 7's tournament will be held on July 4 and 5—a meaningful time to wear red, white, and blue with pride.

Why We Need Your Support

As a new team, we're building from scratch. There’s no league funding, no national budget—just dedicated players making sacrifices to be part of something bigger than themselves. We are paying 100% of our expenses out-of-pocket.

Here’s what it costs per player:

Tournament Registration: $140

Lodging for 6 nights: $500

Uniforms & Gear: $200

Travel (varies by distance): $100–$600
