Support us to bring back Queer Black Christmas

My name is Tanya Compas, I’m the founder of Exist Loudly and Queer Black Christmas and I’m here to ask for your support to help us bring back Queer Black Christmas for our FIFTH year.

Queer Black Christmas is a Christmas celebration for Black and Mixed Black LGBTQ+ youth from London, prioritising those experiencing homelessness, living in temporary accommodation and those living in hostile family homes.

Each year we open our doors to 30 young people and host them for a day of good food, presents, games, music and community building activities.

I am once again calling upon support from community, friends and allies, to support Exist Loudly in hosting our FIFTH Queer Black Christmas celebration.

This year, we are holding Queer Black Christmas across two days, with Queer Black Christmas Eve reserved for activities and workshops to build friends and community, and Queer Black Christmas day reserved to celebrate the year with a Christmas meal, games, open mic and of course, presents!

DONATION BREAKDOWN

£4 - Will cover the cost of a young person’s Christmas card

£10 - Will cover a travel bursary for a young person to attend Queer Black Christmas.

£20 - Will cover the cost of a young person to get their haircut by our in-house barber

£35 - Will cover the cost of a young person's Christmas dinner.

£45 - Will cover the cost of a young person’s Christmas gift.

£50 - Will cover the cost of one hour of the total hire fee for our venue.
