Support Us Through Melissa's Journey!

Hi everyone my name is Hailey Clark, Melissa Clark's daughter! If you know my mom, you know she's the last person to ask for help, but the first to lend a hand to anyone in need, no matter her own circumstances. Whether it's her time, energy, or even her last dollar, she has always been there for others.

Recently, our family was shaken by the devastating news that my mom has been diagnosed with lung cancer. She's a warrior, having bravely fought and beaten breast cancer before, but this new challenge is especially hard for us. Despite the weight of this news, my mom still wears her beautiful smile, refusing to let it break her spirit! She works very hard to stay healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle but obviously, once you've had cancer, you fear it coming back and unfortunately it has. She is very active and loves to run marathons and enjoys to work out when she has the extra time.

I am creating this page with the support of friends to help alleviate the burden of her upcoming medical expenses. My mom is unaware that my friends and I are making this Go Fund Me- because that's just the kind of person she is. She doesn't ask for anything, even when she needs it most. However through this difficult time any extra money would be a huge blessing to help with medical costs. But we know how much the mounting costs of medical needs are. We aren't sure what the future looks like exactly but with doctor visits, scans, and any treatment plans, it's going to add up and we wanted to help take the financial stress away. We want her to focus on fighting and healing without the added stress of financial worry.
