Learning we are pregnant with our second child and finding the perfect land that we have been searching for over the previous years all in the same month has been such a blessing. However, it has come with a financial squeeze as we are in the final push to complete the main phase of our home before our due date in March. Alex is building the house himself working 12 hour shifts, he took a pause on his job to get us into our house before baby comes. The journey has been both exciting and overwhelming, as we balance the joy of growing our family with the realities of building our dream home from the ground up.

Alex and his crew of four have been working above and beyond the normal pace of a typical build for our dream barndominium. I am so proud of the progress that is seen day by day, all starting from a concrete slab that was on the land, all while my belly grows too. We are set to have this project complete in the coming weeks, but we are feeling the pressure of covering the final costs. All donations will go towards completing the payment for their labor, final materials that may be needed, and ensuring our midwife expenses are covered all at the same time.
