Our family was recently impacted by a severe flood that filled our basement to the ceiling. In just a few hours, we lost nearly everything stored there. The only thing we were able to save was one small box of family photos.

The flood destroyed thousands of dollars worth of furniture, appliances, tools, electronics, clothing, and almost all our sentimental keepsakes — including all of my childhood items. As a senior nursing student at Marquette, I had been keeping much of what I’d collected for my future apartment — clothes, textbooks, and household items — at home, all of which were lost in the flood.

The damage to our home is significant, and we may be facing the possibility of losing it entirely. We are working to replace essentials, cover immediate needs, and repair as much as possible. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us take steps toward rebuilding and moving forward. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and support during this challenging time.
