As everyone knows, New England recently endured a record-setting blizzard. This blizzard meant the students living on campus at the University of Rhode Island would be isolated in their dorms without a way to have freshly cooked meals since there was a statewide travel ban and the dining hall workers wouldn't be able to make it to campus. The dining hall workers at the University of Rhode Island decided that they would rather sleep in the booths or chairs of the dining hall than risk a student going hungry.

This fundraiser is managed by students at the University of Rhode Island for the community outreach project and our hope is to raise enough money to give each worker a gift because they give so much for us.
