Hi, I’m Arjun Ravi, and I’m excited to support Seacamp Association, Inc. by leading a fundraiser to create an underwater videography course at Seacamp in Summer 2026.

Seacamp is a 60-year-old organization dedicated to marine science education, directly serving over 5,000 students and researchers each year. Through immersive, hands-on experiences in the Florida Keys, Seacamp helps students truly understand the ocean, not just by learning about it, but by exploring it firsthand.

Scuba diving, skin diving, and snorkeling are central to this experience. Last summer, I earned my NAUI open-water scuba certification at Seacamp, alongside many other students. Much of what we learn happens underwater. However, without proper underwater videography equipment and training, we can’t safely capture or share what we see.

This fundraiser aims to change that. By creating an underwater videography course, students and researchers will be able to document marine life, share Seacamp’s story, and showcase the beauty and importance of the Florida Keys with a wider audience.

We need your help.

  • $25 buys a silicone attachment to safely hold action cameras underwater

  • $50 covers one student diving plan with video for one day

  • $100 buys a dive case to protect the underwater video equipment

  • $200 covers one action camera for a student or researcher to use this summer

Your donation will help Seacamp launch this course by enabling us to:

  • Acquire underwater videography equipment, including waterproof action cameras and dive kits

  • Develop a course that trains students in underwater filming and video editing

  • Participate in local citizen science initiatives, such as coral reef monitoring, using real photo and video footage

  • Provide resident researchers with tools to capture underwater footage, strengthening and enriching ongoing marine research at Seacamp

Please consider donating to support this effort and help bring underwater science to life.

Thank you for your generosity!
