On June 29, 2024, what should have been a joyful celebration of my cousin’s college graduation turned into a tough moment for our family. My uncle suffered his second stroke and is now in the hospital, recently moved to a rehabilitation center.

My auntie is facing the heavy burden of managing the costs for his care—hospital bills, therapy, medications, and aftercare. As the sole provider, she is trying to stay strong for her kids and my uncle during this challenging time.
