Support Uncle Ricky's Cancer Battle

Hi, my name is Craig Gremillion. Over the last 2 years, my family has been hit hard by cancer. My mom passed away, then 6 months later, my uncle passed, and a few days ago we received devastating news that my Uncle Ricky has Glioblastoma. Anyone who knows my uncle and has spent time with him knows he is the life of whatever get-together is going on. My siblings and I lost our dad before we were 15 years old, and my uncle stepped in and helped my mom as much as he could with us. He’s been a father figure to us since then. My uncle just retired last year and has spent most of his time over the years in Grand Isle, LA, in his happy place with his wife Stacey, Gerry, Debbie, and other friends and family, ripping specs out of the gulf, running lines for crabs, and slurping down salty oysters. He is loved by so many, and this hurts all of us. Only God knows the time he has left on this earth. We pray for a miracle, but at the end of the day, we pray for God's will to be done in his life, and if that includes God performing a miracle, we give Him praise either way.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is twofold. First, I would like to take my uncle and some of his closest fishing buddies on a 2-night charter fishing trip to the Chandeleur Islands south of Biloxi to chase world-class speckled trout. I know it will mean the world to him and to us to spend a trip like this together. Secondly, we would like to make immunotherapy cancer treatment an option for him. As many know, this treatment is not covered by most insurances and is not covered by my uncle’s insurance. It’s not as harsh on the body as chemo and radiation. If you feel led to donate any amount, it would be most appreciated, and most of all, we covet your prayers for him.
