Donation protected
Dear friends and colleagues, greetings from Krakow, Poland, where I am working as a volunteer with Ukrainian refugees. Like you, I am shocked by the recent events in Ukraine. I feel a responsibility to bear witness to this crisis and to do something useful. Join me!
Here is what you're amazing donations have achieved so far:
Here is what you're amazing donations have achieved so far:
1) I've rented an apartment for 1.5 weeks in Przemysl for refugees arriving at the border. Natasha and her children arrived on April 3rd after three days of travel from the Dnipropetrovsk region. Others will stay after she and her family continue their journey.

2) I met Tatiana at a Krakow NGO. Her husband and 18 year old son are in Kiev as army reserve. Tatiana's 2nd son is in Krakow where he is studying and she was looking to find a home to stay close, but having MAJOR issues because she has her beloved dog "Chester" with her. Your donation helped me book her a 2-month stay at an Airbnb nearby on the spot!

3) I visited the Krakow refugee hub and office center of Fundacja Współpracy Polsko Ukraińskiej "U-Work" (or "U-Work Foundation) www.facebook.com/fundacja.uwork. They are providing Ukrainians with shelter, food, clothing, transportation, and training on obtaining employment in Poland. They run out of FOOD every day. Your donation helps them buy $1,000 worth of supplies listed here (photos to come!): https://tinyurl.com/yry66vrn
