Make a Difference by Supporting Ukrainian Refugees

Donation protected
Nelly and Greg Ostrovsky immigrated from Ukraine to the US in 1989, just before the fall of the Soviet Union. (Read more about their story and how they and their loved ones have been affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine here ). With several friends and family members still in Ukraine or having just recently evacuated, the Ostrovskys are supporting three(+) families by sending money to help cover their basic necessities, food, and medicine. In the near future, the Ostrovskys may also work on securing visas, plane tickets, etc. for some to travel to the US and support them here once they arrive. Contributions are much-appreciated and will help these victims of the war directly as they navigate/flee the horrors of the war. The families include:

1. The Ostrovskys’ close friends: a mother, her 16 and 13-year-old daughters, and their dog, while they are displaced in Berlin. The family has been separated from the father, who is still in Ukraine.

2. Nelly’s cousin and 16 year-old daughter, while they are displaced in Poland.

3. The Ostrovskys’ close friends: a mother, father, and grandmother of Anton, a recently engaged 32-year old who died on February 28 from a Russian shelling. The family remains in Kyiv at this time.

Former classmates, co-workers, etc. continue to contact the Ostrovsky family seeking help. We are grateful for your contributions for these women and children in need.

Thank you!
