Support Ubaid — A Young Father’s Fight After Life-Threatening Surgery & Stroke
Hi, my name is Suhail and for 25 years, Ubaid has been more than just my younger brother’s best friend — he is family. A gentle soul with a quiet strength, Ubaid has always lived for others. He is the sole provider for his elderly single mother, his loving wife, and now, his newborn baby boy.
Ubaid recently underwent a high-risk surgery to remove a Shamblin III carotid body tumor, a dangerously positioned tumor that had wrapped around his carotid artery and reached a critical nerve near his brain. Despite knowing the life-threatening risks — including stroke — he went through with the surgery for the sake of his family.
The worst happened.
Following the procedure, Ubaid suffered a stroke in the right side of his brain, which led to left-sided weakness. He was moved to the ICU and is now in a fragile state of recovery. Thankfully, he is conscious, responsive, and showing signs of mobility in all limbs — but the road ahead is long, uncertain, and expensive.
Ubaid has always been the only breadwinner for his household. He works a modest job, and now — with his health in crisis — he cannot return to work for many months, if at all this year. Meanwhile, medical costs continue to mount, and his newborn child and dependent family still need shelter, food, and care.
We’re asking for your kindness.
This fundraiser will help cover:
Ubaid’s medical expenses and rehabilitation
Support for his wife, baby, and mother during his recovery
Basic household needs while he cannot work
Please consider helping us lift some of this unbearable burden. Whether it’s through a donation or by sharing this page, you can be a lifeline for a young man and his family during the most difficult chapter of their lives.
Every pound, every prayer, and every share truly matters.
