Falsely Accused – Please Help Me Fight for My Son’s Innocence

The Situation

I’m reaching out with heavy heart and unwavering hope as I fight for my son, whose life has been turned upside down by false accusations. These charges are not only unjust – they threaten to destroy everything he has worked so hard to build. On June 12, 2025, late evening, my son was detained by St. Clair County Police Department, a loving father, on his way to work, in Belleville, Illinois.

My son had recently started a CDL training course and had just completed his paperwork to enlist in the U.S. Army. He was on a path to a stable and promising future, ready to serve his country and provide for his family. Now, that future is at risk of being taken away from him.

 

Why We’re Raising Funds

The Taylor-Powell family’s situation is extremely fluid at this time. Regardless of what happens in the coming days and weeks, the Taylor family urgently needs support to:

    •    Secure trusted attorneys for representation in court and navigate the complex legal proceedings.

    •    Cover bond fees, application costs, and court-related expenses to help gain his temporary release.

    •    Pay for travel, document translation, and administrative fees required throughout the legal process.
