Hello friends,

I’m creating this GoFundMe under some of the most painful and unexpected circumstances my family has ever faced. My grandfather, my rock, my guide, was recently in a devastating, life-threatening car accident. We believe he suffered a stroke while driving, which caused his truck to veer off the road and flip.

The injuries he sustained are severe and heartbreaking: internal bleeding in multiple areas of his body and brain, a fractured neck, and now he’s entering heart failure. He’s in critical condition, and we’re not sure how much time we have left with him.

I’m flying down from Alaska to be with him in the hospital, to sit by his side, to say goodbye, or maybe, just maybe, to witness a miracle. We’re hoping for the best, but bracing ourselves for the worst.

It’s incredibly hard for me to ask for help, but any support, no matter how small, would mean the absolute world. This fund will help cover the emergency travel costs, time away from work, and support for my family during this unimaginable time.
