Our beloved brother Tyler Erickson (45) passed away peacefully in the evening on January 1st, 2025 surrounded by family. In August 2024 he was shockingly diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer considering he ran a Spartan race just one month prior in July. He fought relentlessly and battled til the very end. Tyler has always been a fighter and he maintained a level of faith and positivity that is unmatched as he navigated diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, intervention, home health, and the numerous ER visits and hospital stays he and his wife Jen endured since August. Jen took him to the hospital this last weekend and he was admitted to the ICU where his condition quickly became critical. He held on despite his body being riddled with cancer and other infections and complications, and waited for his siblings to arrive and say their goodbyes today. This evening he was transitioned to comfort care so he could peacefully return to his home in heaven pain free.

Tyler is deeply loved by his adoring wife, Jen Erickson. They have 3 boys: Luke (20) who just returned home from his LDS mission in Washington, Isaac (18) who is currently serving a mission in Las Vegas, and Andrew (14). Tyler values family with high esteem and his role as husband and father have always been of the utmost importance to him. Their family loves to make memories by traveling and are Disney enthusiasts.

Jen has spent the last 5 months by Tyler's side, tirelessly caring for his every need and providing exceptional love and support.

We are hoping to come together as their friends, family, and loved ones to support their financial needs and help cover funeral expenses, medical expenses, and possibly home repairs due to a disastrous flooding of their basement in 2023 for which they are still in the midst of a legal battle.

Details of Tyler’s funeral services have not been determined yet and will be shared as soon as possible.
