Friends & family- I'm Molly, and for those who don't know, I'm Tyler's big sister. On 11/09/24, Hannah & Tyler found out they were having a baby boy! To say they are excited is an understatement. Baby boy Nelson is due in March, but he apparently has other plans... Yesterday, 11/23, Hannah's water broke at only 22 weeks. She was flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, where she will stay until baby boy is born. The hope is that he stays put and continues to grow in mama's tummy, but Ty & Hannah have a long road of uncertainty ahead. Baby boy will most likely be born premature and need time in the NICU, which extends their already lengthy hospital stay. Anyone who knows Tyler & Hannah knows how kind and generous they are, but right now they need us to be that for them. Bills will continue to pile high while Tyler stays at Hannah's side, with no income coming in. If anyone can spare anything to help them get through this time, it would be much appreciated! If you can't donate, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers, and help them by sharing this! They appreciate all the love they can get ❤️
11/26 update from Hannah: On Saturday evening I was admitted to the childbirth center in Williston due to PPROM (preterm premature rupture of membranes) with unknown onset of labor. Not long after I was flown to Sanford in Fargo to ensure if I was in labor and had the baby that we would have a NICU team prepared for a 22 week premie. Since my water broke I’ve had no contractions and there is still enough fluid surrounding the baby. I got steroid shots to help baby’s lungs develop and have been on many antibiotics to prevent any kind of infection. At this point I will not leave the hospital until I have the baby. I am hoping that means my stay will last about 12 weeks to bring baby up to 34 weeks at which point they would induce labor. At this point things are going as well as they can and we hope for not much change. Thank you so much Tara Johnson and Slade Johnson for being here for me when I arrived in Fargo, not being alone right away helped put me in the best mindset to stay positive. I couldn’t do any of this without the best partner Tyler Nelson as he and Graicelyn made the drive to get here. Thanks to Molly Lynne Smith who has been watching Graicelyn for us while we figure everything out. Tina White has always been one of my biggest supporters going to the store for anything we need to keep us busy and comfortable. The nurses and doctors here at Sanford have been absolutely incredible in giving us information to make sure we are prepared and ready for whatever may happen and taking care of us. I cannot thank everyone else enough family and friends and even acquaintances that have provided emotional, physical and financial support in our time of need.
