Support TXPSD: Replace Equipment After July 4 Search Efforts

Support Texas Public Safety Divers – Help Us Replace Critical Equipment Lost During July 4th Flood Response

Following the devastating July 4th flooding in the Texas Hill Country, Texas Public Safety Divers (TXPSD) were called in by Center Point Fire Department to assist with search and recovery efforts. During the mission, our AquaEye Pro sonar device—vital for locating victims underwater—failed due to excessive charging cycles. Additionally, some of our divers’ personal gear was stolen during the operation.

After speaking with the manufacturer, we were told replacement parts are not an option—only the purchase of a new model is possible. In addition, we urgently need to replace stolen and contaminated gear, acquire an underwater communication system, and purchase a field compressor to refill air tanks on-site.

Every member of TXPSD is an unpaid volunteer. Your donation directly funds mission-critical equipment used to save lives and bring closure to families.

About Us:
Founded in 2013 and established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2023, TXPSD is made up of highly trained, certified public safety divers and underwater forensics experts. Our team includes former military personnel, commercial divers, and law enforcement officers. We are proud to be recognized as a FEMA Type II Underwater Recovery Team.
