Support 2 Mothers & Children: Families Separated by ICE

Dear community,

Today, I am reaching out to you to support a local family in Albany. I know many of us are wondering how we can contribute and do right in the world right now, and here is your opportunity: Donate to support two mothers-- one expecting, one caring for three young children-- whose lives have been upended by family separation by ICE.

I am raising $20,000, and I hope that, with your help, we can meet our goal in the next 13 days.

All money raised will go to the family, with $8k to pay the bond for their detained loved one. If the amount for bond is not met, funds will be used to offset the loss of regular income, including recovering an impounded car, items for an expected baby (any day now), rent, groceries, and other daily needs. If we exceed this goal, we can help stabilize home for these mothers in the coming months.
