Two young girls, ages 6 and 8, need immediate support after being removed from an abusive home. They were severely abused and strangled by their mother’s boyfriend, and their mother did not take action to help them. Both the mother and boyfriend are now incarcerated. The girls are currently placed with a foster family while family members are being reviewed for a possible placement.

They were taken from the home with almost nothing of their own. Right now, they need basic essentials as well as items that can bring some comfort and stability during an incredibly traumatic time.

Donations to this fundraiser will be used for the girls’ benefit, including clothing, personal hygiene items, comfort items such as weighted blankets and weighted stuffed animals, mental health services and co-pays, and toys. These are immediate needs, and the urgency is even greater because they may soon be moved to family members and still do not have many of the personal belongings they need.
