Support Two Families in Gaza

Hi, we’re Ayah Abuajwa and Ibrahim Zoghbor, and we are asking for your help, not for ourselves, but for our families in Gaza, who have lost everything in this war.

This campaign is Ayah’s hope, a desperate and determined effort to rebuild her mother’s home and bring dignity back to a family shattered by unimaginable tragedy.

Ayah’s childhood home, next to a hospital, was completely destroyed. Her 70-year-old mother, who is ill and cannot walk, now lives in a tent, with no medication, no wheelchair, and no safety.

Her sister Dalia suffered the most devastating loss: her 10-year-old daughter, Maryam, was killed in a rocket attack that also took 30 members of her husband’s family. Dalia and her young son and daughter are the only survivors. They escaped death, but everything else is gone.

Ibrahim’s 70-year-old mother, and his siblings, have also lost their homes. They are doing everything they can to keep their children safe, but the conditions are unbearable.

We are doing all we can from here in Canada, but the need is overwhelming. That’s why we’ve launched this GoFundMe, to support both of our families, and most of all, to help Ayah rebuild her mother’s home, help Dalia and her son heal, and support the children now living without stability.
