My name is Christopher Hughes and I’m organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of my daughter Cheyenne Lynn, who has recently lost her mother unexpectedly.
On March 28th, 2025, Lexus Lynn Shipp-Garibay lost her life in a motor vehicle accident near Harrisburg, South Dakota.
This unexpected accident left both her daughters, Cheyenne, at only 5 years old, and her big sister, Chevelle, 8 years old, now without a mother.
I’m setting this page up as a way for anyone and everyone to be able to give love and support to these two beautiful girls in these rough times because they have a long journey ahead of them. I would like to reach out to anyone that is willing to give any sort of support to the whole family that is impacted by this sudden loss.
My goal with this fundraiser is to be able to raise money for my daughter and to set up a savings account for her with the money regarding school, extracurriculars, and other needs that she may need over the years while we deal with the loss.
I am also going to be setting up a savings account for her big sister Chevelle as well that I am planning on putting my own personal funds into, and if anyone wants to reach out and add any sort of donations to that account, I am more than willing to do so.
We are thankful for all the love and support everyone has offered and shown to both the girls. Please keep them both in your thoughts and prayers as well as our families.
