Support Trudie's Retirement Rental Project

Hi, my name is Erin and I'm fundraising for my amazingly generous mom, Trudie. She is one of the most giving and loving people I know and has been giving to others longer than I've been alive. She has baked cakes for over 40 years for friends, family, friends-of-friends, foster children, and people in need without ever charging and insisting that it is her ministry, not her business. She faithfully gives to charities, even when money is tight and would never say no to helping her family.

My mom recently retired as her health was significantly impacted by a career that required long hours of sitting at a desk. However, like many older Americans, she doesn't have enough money to live month-to-month and will soon run out of savings. She has a garage behind her house that we would like to turn into a rental that will provide much needed income so she can continue to afford daily life. The cost to finish this project is $70,000. The funds raised will go toward this project. We have completed the electrical, sewer, and water already, but need to complete the project. We have all of the tradesmen lined up and a detailed bid for walls, paint, doors, windows, kitchen, bathroom, etc. We just need the funds to complete it!
