This past weekend, our family’s world was turned upside down. Troy was the victim of an unprovoked act of violence in Timberlea, leaving him with a severe spinal cord injury.

Right now, Troy is stable in the ICU, but the road ahead will be long and incredibly challenging. His recovery is expected to take at least six months, and that’s just the beginning of a journey that will require strength, resilience, and unwavering support.

Jan is by Troy’s side where she needs to be, focusing on his care and being there for him every step of the way. As you can imagine, with both of them unable to work during this time, the financial strain will be significant. Between medical expenses, rehabilitation, travel, and everyday living costs, the burden is overwhelming.
